Miracle of Christmas at Sight & Sound Theater brings the bible and the story of the first Christmas to life as the audience follows along with Mary and Joseph’s journey to the stable in Bethlehem and the birth of Christ. Featuring live animals and epic performances, Miracle of Christmas delivers the inspiration and hope of the Christmas story. Miracle of Christmas runs from November 3 – December 30.
Take in the splendor of the season at American Music Theater’s First Noel. This show delivers a lively holiday experience with professional singing and dancing and breathtaking sets that come together to create a wonderous celebration of the season. The First Noel runs from November 7-December 30.
Looking for an old-fashioned Christmas experience Christmas? Yuletide at Wheatland and Yuletide at Historic Rock Ford will take you back to the Christmas celebrations of long ago.
Wheatland, the former home of Lancaster native and former president James Buchannan is the setting for Yuletide at Wheatland. Guided tours will showcase how Christmas was celebrated in the early days of the Industrial Revolution. Yuletide at Wheatland tours are available Monday, November 20 through December 30, Mondays – Saturdays, every hour, from 10 am through 3pm (last tour of the day).
Yuletide at Historic Rock Ford highlights the way Christmas the way it was celebrated in the 18th century! Held in the General Edward Hand Mansion on the grounds of Rock Ford, visitors will be immersed in traditional Yuletide customs, period dancing and cooking demonstrations. Yuletide at Historic Rock Ford runs December 27-29.
