Meet Your Innkeeper
Your Innkeeper at Rocky Springs Bed & Breakfast!

Verna Fisher, Innkeeper
Verna Fisher
Along with over ten years of innkeeping experience at Ellmaker House, Verna has a gift for letting people know they’re truly welcome. The eldest of nine children, she was born and raised here, so she knows Lancaster County and all that makes our area special.
Part of the Amish community herself until age ten, she was involved in traditional Amish schooling as a young student and then later as a schoolteacher. Her whole life has been steeped in Lancaster’s local culture and rich heritage of serving people. Her first job as a young teen was in a local bakeshop, and since then she has blossomed her skills in teaching, food preparation, and serving people with a warm and inviting personality.
Verna is a gift to us, and she will be a blessing to you. Come and experience Lancaster County hospitality at its best.
